Liz Lauter California artist Liz Lauter has had a very successful career as a designer and manufacturer. Her company Liz Lauter Designs, which earned an outstanding reputation in the 1980's and 90's for quality of design and product, produced a line of textile gift products in the categories of garden, gourmet and gift. They were sold internationally in specialty stores and through catalogues. The company was one of the first to pioneer garden gifts as an all year category. "The Flower Pot Apron" was Liz's original trademarked product and was an instant success. Liz's imagery has been licensed for ceramic products, tabletop textiles and a wide variety of home decor accessories.
